The new album Criss-Cross Cross follows the limited edition acoustic album For Love No Matter which came out earlier in the year. Criss-Cross Cross is loaded with laptop experimentation, keys/synths, guitar, and Kram's infamously desperate vocals, all more in line with the jolting noisiness of his live shows.
The album deals with the paradoxes, as the album title and cover art portray, of living fulfillingly, and is influenced by such writers Dostoevsky, Thoreau, and more, all directly exemplified by select rambling quotes of past thinkers throughout the album.

Video of Kram Ran Solo/Acoustic Set Online  Kram of Kram Ran recently performed a solo/acoustic set at the Exchange Community Church as part of the InFringe Concert Series. The performance included a new film made by Kram, and dancer Sara Leeson-Klym. The set was captured by the Blog "Where The Rivers Meet." Watch the whole 44 minute set here.
nFringe A Great Success  InFringe was a Concert Series held at the Exchange Community Church during the Fringe Festival (Jul 18th - 29th). It was organized by Mark Wohlgemuth, and featured many of Winnipeg's best artists. You can find more information on the InFringe Myspace here. | |
